Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting Implementation Engineer

Location: Salt Lake City United States

Job Description:

Akkodis is seeking an AAA Implementation Engineer for a Contract with a client in Salt Lake, City (Remote). You will lead AAA implementation projects, including integration of identity authentication technologies and network access control solutions.

Rate Range: $34/hour to $35/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

AAA Implementation Engineer job responsibilities include:

  • Design and implement AAA solutions (RADIUS/TACACS, 802.1X) using Aruba ClearPass or Cisco ISE, including cluster builds, upgrades, and policy configurations.

  • Manage end-to-end change execution, including creating CRQs, conducting peer reviews, rehearsing changes in lab environments, and performing migrations during approved windows.

  • Integrate and automate network security components, leveraging tools like Splunk, Stealthwatch, and load balancers for monitoring and risk mitigation.

  • Perform certificate management (SSL/TLS), troubleshoot authentication issues, and ensure compliance with security standards.

  • Conduct testing, validation, and root cause analysis, developing test plans and coordinating with teams for successful implementation.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of projects and clear communication across teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; postgraduate degree is a plus.

  • 8-12 years in technical roles supporting network projects and AAA implementations.

  • Subject matter expertise in enterprise identity authentication technologies, including AAA (RADIUS/TACACS), 802.1X, and experience with Aruba ClearPass or Cisco ISE.

  • Strong technical knowledge in network security, certificate management (SSL/TLS), and proficiency with tools like Splunk, Stealthwatch, and automation frameworks.

Pay Details: $34.00 to $35.00 per hour
