***This role requires you to be located in the Indianapolis area because this is a hybrid role and requires one a day a week in the office.***
Position Summary:
This role is responsible for quality deliverables of Precision AQ products and client projects on the Product Solutions team. This position interacts with application development teams, product owners, data analysts, client engagement teams, and other business stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality products to meet our clients’ business needs. This position is accountable for executing manual test cases largely based on comparing Legally Reviewed (MLR) approved documentation to software output where detailed accuracy is critical. The Associate QA Tester role is heavily focused on proof-reading skills and applies meticulous inspection to ensure quality. The Tester detects and reports defects and inconsistencies while adhering to deadlines and milestones established by the project teams.
Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with the Precision AQ team stakeholders to review user stories, requirements and client documentation to ensure understanding and testability.
- Execute testing of development output against mark-up and legally approved submissions for overall quality including proofreading content for spelling, grammar, and formatting.
- Execute manual test cases and document results.
- Detect and track defects in accordance with team standards, re-testing to ensure a proper resolution has been implemented.
- Effectively manage multiple projects concurrently with shifting priorities.
- Adhere to project milestones as defined by the project teams.
- Report status, concerns, and risks for client deliverables including applications, reports, and data files.
- Develop understanding of manage markets, payer data and Precision products to improve effectiveness in quality capabilities.
Qualifications:
Minimum Required:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent desired
- You must have a strong capability for syntax, typos, and grammar
- Exceptional proofreading skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products such as Excel

Preferred:
- Experience with application life cycle and manual testing tools such as Azure DevOps is a plus
- General knowledge of computer systems, software, web browsers and web-based applications
- Understanding of software quality terminology and its application
- Experience testing with mobile devices (specifically iPads) is a plus
Precision is required by law in some states or cities to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.
