Join a leading global audio streaming service dedicated to connecting millions of fans with their favorite music and podcasts. We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Associate Manager to support our client's Music Content team in North America. This is a crucial operational role focused on ensuring seamless content availability and managing cross-functional projects.
This long term contract is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in our offices in Los Angeles or New York.
Responsibilities:
- Provide essential operational support for the Music Content team, managing tracking tools, meeting logistics, and content availability workflows.
- Draft and deliver communications to external partners regarding content availability, upcoming releases, and metadata.
- Track and triage inbound content questions from partners and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution.
- Maintain and update comprehensive trackers for content rights, metadata status, and delivery timelines.
- Review partner-provided metadata and escalate any issues to relevant teams.
- Coordinate internal and external syncs, including scheduling, agenda preparation, note-taking, and follow-ups.
- Monitor and report on content ingestion, availability status, and publishing information to inform timelines and troubleshoot issues.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation, including FAQs and escalation paths.
- Assist in assembling reports and summaries highlighting key trends, blockers, and feedback.
- Support Rights & Clearance processes by updating licensing trackers and drafting partner outreach.
- Contribute to process improvements, leveraging AI tools and other technology platforms to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
- You have 2+ years of experience in content operations, project coordination, partner support, or rights management, ideally within the music, technology, or entertainment industries.
- You possess a strong passion for music, with broad knowledge of artists, genres, and cultural trends.
- You have a working understanding of licensing and publishing dynamics and are eager to expand your knowledge of rights management.
- You are confident using collaboration tools and leveraging technology, including AI, to improve workflows.
- You are based in New York City or Los Angeles and available to work from the office three times per week.
- You are open to occasional evening availability, especially during high-priority release moments.
