In partnership with the broader content team, the Creative team works to elevate the brand, create & design visually compelling creative campaigns that engage our customer and communicate product.
The Associate Graphic Designer is responsible for executing aspirational and compelling collateral that supports overall company goals, inspires our consumer to engage and purchase. All work will be done in alignment with the Creative Content Strategy and roadmap. It is expected that this role will gain an understanding of business performance to make informed decisions in their design strategy and execution.
A day in the life…
- The Associate Graphic Designer is expected to:
- Keep the brand aspirational, elevated, and chic in everything they do.
- Continue to build upon your knowledge of what drives the business and engages the consumer.
- The Associate Graphic Designer executes elevated and brand right design in alignment with communication channel strategy in the following areas:
- Email Communication: Marketing Emails (includes daily communications, promotional support); Triggered Email Journeys, including loyalty; Brand and Retail Event Emails and Digital Invitations (collabs, NSO, etc); and Branded elements of email (header + footers)
- Digital Design: On-Site & iOS App
- Social Media
- Photoshoot support
- Influencer Marketing
- Internal Communications: Business Meeting + On-Sale; Company Meeting; Videos; Selling Decks
- Associates may be asked to design for and perform duties that are outside the specific functions that are listed.
Qualifications for the Position
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts or related field preferred, not required.
- Generally, 1 - 3 years of design experience, preferably in the fashion industry
- Fashion experience is not required but a plus
- Excellent judgement and taste, elevated design aesthetic
- Strong collaboration skills – able to communicate ideas effectively.
- Outstanding eye for typography and layout
- Motion and Animation experience a plus
- Understanding of the apparel market and a vision for business-driving tactics.
- Insight into the ever-changing channels of consumer communication, especially the power of online marketing and digital experiences.
- Creative vision as well as fine attention to detail in project management.
- Ability to maintain a strict calendar of deadlines and ensure others do the same.
- Strong verbal and written skills.
- Strong multi-tasking skills.
- Win as a team mentality
- An understanding of the Lilly Pulitzer brand positioning and consumer profile.
- A strong interest in content creation, photography, video editing, and animation is a bonus.

A Little More to Know…
- This position is classified as full-time salaried; it is exempt and is not eligible for overtime. This position is eligible for standard company benefits.
- This position is required to maintain a structured hybrid work schedule based out of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. This hybrid schedule, which includes work done in the King of Prussia Office as well as your Home Office will be determined by your supervisor.
- Given the seasonality of the business, this position may require flexible, additional working hours during peak periods.
- This position is expected to collaborate effectively with other individuals in alignment with our Core Values and Core Leadership Qualities.
