The Louisiana Office of Juvenile Justice (OJJ) is committed to protecting the public by providing safe and effective individualized services to youth, who will become productive, law-abiding citizens. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator 2. As part of our executive team, you will provide essential administrative support that keeps the Director's Office running smoothly, while helping advance our mission of rehabilitation, accountability, and community safety.

One year of experience in administrative services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:

Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for six months of the required experience.

  • Coordinate daily administrative operations for the Director's Office, including scheduling, correspondence, and document preparation.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and professional communication.

  • Prepare, review, and route official documents, reports, and personnel actions in compliance with Civil Service and agency policies.

  • Maintain records, files, and databases to support program oversight and executive decision-making.

  • Assist with budget tracking, procurement requests, and other fiscal support functions.

  • Support special projects, meetings, and initiatives led by the Director and executive staff.

  • Uphold confidentiality and integrity in handling juvenile justice-related information.

Work Location: This vacancy is located at Swanson Center for Youth in Monroe, Louisiana. 

Appointment Type: This is a part-time Administrative Coordinator 2 position. 

The incumbent of this position must not have been convicted or pled nolo contendere to a crime listed in R.S. 15.587.1 (c).
