Responsibilities

Job Summary

Responsible for client invoicing and set up activities, including but not limited to,  new client invoice set up and rate configuration, existing monthly client invoicing and renewals.  Research client invoice inquiries and vendor payment discrepancies.  Interdepartmental and external communication and support regarding invoicing.   Set up and maintain client profiles in our secure portal and assist assist with troubleshooting issues.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities/Duties

  • Ensure customers are billed correctly for services
  • Issue invoices and distribute them electronically
  • Communicate with customers to answer questions
  • Keep accurate records
  • Prepare and submit invoices
  • Great attention to detail
  • Excellent ability to organize and coordinate tasks
  • Assist other departments in resolution of client / vendor issues
  • Understand and document process and controls, systems, workflows, etc.
  • Work with third party payment processors
  • Train and collaborate with our colleagues and teammates.
  • Generate adjustment or credit memos as needed.
  • Assist with month end close.
  • Ad hoc projects. Perform other job duties as required.
  • Bill in multiple systems like Netsuite, El Dorado, Qiclink, GIAS, and Javelina
  • Assist in month end closing like customer revenue review and defer revenue allocation.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Experince in accounting, finance, business administration or related field
  • TPA experience preferred but not required.
  • Previous banking and health insurance industry experience preferred
  • Ability to take direction and work effectively with leadership
  • Proficiency in Windows and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficient in financial and TPA systems. Netsuite, Qiclink, Javelina experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Advance Excel skills and profincicy in other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Enthusiastic team player mentality.

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $20 to $24 per hour.

Note that compensation may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is part time and therefore not eligible for benefits.
