Job Description:
ConnectAd is seeking a part-time (20hr/week) Accounting Specialist to join our innovative, energetic, and high-achieving Finance team.
We are in search of a meticulously organized and detail-oriented temporary Accounting Specialist. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and practices, possess exceptional analytical abilities, and exhibit the capacity to operate autonomously as well as in collaboration within a fast-paced environment. The Accounting Specialist will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy of accounting transactions, encompassing accounts receivable and accounts payable, while also executing month-end closing procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining the integrity of system information to facilitate accurate reporting.
- Timely processing of invoices, payments, and receipts. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions to guarantee accuracy.
- Create and maintain records for customers and partners.
- Manage monthly invoice billing processing.
- Oversee the collection of outstanding accounts receivable invoices.
- Apply payment receipts and adjust billing as necessary.
- Handle monthly partner payment processing.
- Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
- Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and participate in special projects as needed, including audit inquiries.
- Execute other accounting responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with BMD and Oracle ERP system applications.
- A solid grasp of accounting principles and practices.
- A strong customer-centric mindset, complemented by excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent organizational skills and an eye for detail.
- Meticulous attention to accuracy in data entry.
- A heightened sense of urgency and commitment to customer service is essential.
- A strong work ethic, capable of working flexible or extended hours during peak times like month-end and quarter-end close, as well as audit periods.
- Ability to collaborate as part of a team or work independently, as needed.
- A basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.

For the advertised position we offer a salary starting from EUR 2,900.00 per month based on 38 hours/week.
