Reports to: CFO

Work Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with some nights and weekends.

Location: Remote or Hybrid, depending on location

Compensation: $100,000 to $130,000 a year, based on experience

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting and Reporting Manager to support our financial operations and strategic goals. As an Accounting and Reporting Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing financial reporting, managing multi-entity accounting operations, and supporting strategic decision-making through accurate financial analysis and leadership of the accounting team.

Primary Job Function

  • Support the CFO in managing accounting for multiple related entities

  • Handle month- and year-end closings, general ledger reconciliations, and KPI reporting

  • Prepare accurate financial statements, tax filings (W2, 1099, sales/use, PCORI, etc.), and assist with audits

  • Supervise the accounting team and monitor financial transactions across AP, AR, and payroll

  • Improve internal processes and manage ERP systems (Business Central, NetSuite, or similar)

  • Coordinate banking activities, including ACHs, wires, and transaction approvals

  • Assist in financial planning and the annual budgeting process

  • Support business license renewals and regulatory filings

  • Provide insights through financial analysis, projections, and performance reports

The Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

  • CPA or CMA certification (preferred)

  • Experience managing multi-entity, multi-state operations

  • Strong supervisory background and ERP system knowledge

  • Advanced Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
