These will be your tasks as a Sales Account Executive (f/m/d)
The main tasks of the Account Executive (f/m/d) include the identification and qualification of sales opportunities, up to the finalization of sales deals with existing and new customers. When building and maintaining customer relationships, the Account Executive (f/m/d) uses all resources to support customers in implementing their corporate vision with suitable SAP products. Always with the goal in mind to help companies of all sizes and industries solve their unique challenges, operate profitably, and continuously adapt and differentiate themselves from the competition.
What you should bring with you

2-3 years of professional experience in a revenue-responsible sales environment in a technology company or in a role with a strong connection to business processes.

Experience in generating sales opportunities, qualifying leads, and managing sales pipelines within a defined sales territory – with a proven track record of building customer relationships and convincingly communicating value propositions.

A cooperative and goal-oriented way of working – both in the team and in customer contact.

The ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics, to adapt flexibly to changes and to apply knowledge in a result-oriented manner.

Basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) – in particular its possible applications, basics and ethical issues – for the identification of business fields of application.
- Resilient Mindset – Challenges are approached with optimism, with a constant drive for personal and professional growth.
- Strong entrepreneurial thinking, including in-depth knowledge of business processes and/or industry.
- Very good English skills for communication within our global network.
- Fluency in German for effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders in the DACH region.

SAP employees in different regions work in a hybrid model with a combination of office and remote work according to country-specific guidelines. Our hybrid work model typically involves three days a week in the office or on-site at the customer's or partner's site.
We are planning a hands-on and intensive program where all participants are expected to travel to San Ramon, California twice, each time for 4 to 6 weeks. This experience is designed to provide hands-on learning experiences and a variety of networking opportunities. *Please note that this program is still in the planning stage and the final decision will be made by the first quarter of 2026 at the latest. We ensure that this information is communicated in a timely manner and that there is sufficient time for preparation.
During these important phases of the program, it is crucial that all participants are fully engaged to ensure maximum learning success. Therefore, no vacations are possible in these critical times.
