Duties

This senior position leads the redesign of the agency's primary website, dor.wa.gov, defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a modern, user-centered experience.

  • Analyze user feedback and performance data to evaluate design effectiveness and identify opportunities to simplify task completion.

Content and site structure optimization

Proven ability to communicate clearly through both verbal and written methods, supported by experience writing and editing website content, forms, and other materials using plain language principles.

Working knowledge of state and federal accessibility policies and standards, along with skills in user centered design principles and testing methodologies, gained through experience applying these requirements to digital content or web-based services.
