Qualifications

BBK seeks an attorney with a minimum of 5 years of real estate litigation experience and a strong interest in public sector and commercial real estate work. The ideal candidate will have experience representing clients—public agencies, private property owners, or businesses—in disputes involving real property rights and interests. This attorney will join a team that handles a wide range of matters including:

Breach of lease and rent disputes

Unlawful detainer (UD) actions

Easement and boundary disputes

 

Quiet title actions

 

Title insurance and foreclosure-related litigation

 

Premises liability and habitability claims involving property owners and management companies

 

Matters overlapping with public agency litigation, such as dangerous condition of public property claims requiring analysis of ownership and easement interests

 

 

 

 

This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse, high-impact real estate and property-related cases while collaborating with attorneys across the firm’s public agency and real estate practice groups. Candidates must be admitted to practice in California.

 

The reasonably expected pay scale for this position seeking an associate with 5 or more years of experience is $137,000 - $195,000.  The actual salary within that range will depend on the selected candidate’s years of practice and experience.  We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
