About The Role
The Treasury Specialist is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Treasury department, including the preparation of cash journals, processing of treasury transactions, maintenance of treasury records and documentation, support of payment processing, and assistance with month-end treasury activities and reporting. This position ensures treasury-related activity is accurately recorded, properly supported, and completed in a timely manner.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare daily cash journals and record companywide cash and banking activity accurately and timely.
- Review bank transactions for completeness, accuracy, and appropriate supporting documentation.
- Assist with daily cash positioning and monitoring of bank account balances.
- Assist with initiating, tracking, confirming, and researching payment-related activity, including unidentified, unusual, or unmatched bank transactions.
- Maintain organized treasury files, records, and audit support documentation.
- Assist with treasury-related compliance, internal controls, and audit requests.
- Support process improvements related to cash activity, payment workflows, system updates, and documentation standards.
- Assist with system testing, data validation, and treasury process updates when new procedures or systems are implemented.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required.
- 1–2 years of accounting, treasury, banking, accounts payable, or related financial operations experience preferred.
- Exposure to cash management, bank transactions, account reconciliations, payment processing, or treasury-related accounting activity preferred.
- Experience working in Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar accounting/ERP systems preferred.
