Technical writers maintain the documentation for Metabase.

What you’ll do

• • Work with engineers, product managers, and product designers to create clear, customer-facing documentation for Metabase.
  • Collaborate with our Success Engineers to understand how customers think and develop best practices, guides, and tutorials to address customer needs.
  • Become a product expert, test new features, and provide product feedback.

About you

• • 3+ years of experience writing docs for technical audiences in data analytics, data engineering, or related fields. 
  • Technical expertise in data science or data engineering - you’ll be expected to be a product and domain expert.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Solid understanding of database concepts and data landscape.
  • Experience with docs-as-code workflows, Markdown, and Git.

Nice to have

• • Experience with API and SDK documentation.
  • Familiarity with Python or JavaScript.
  • Strong opinions about docs tooling.
