In this role, you will deliver hands on support to verify test equipment for the PAC 3 Air and Missile Defense Program.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Systems and Software Quality Engineer you will be responsible for delivering hands‑on support to verify test equipment for the PAC‑3 Air and Missile Defense Program, collaborating with integrated program teams, and applying strong analytical abilities to drive continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Verify and calibrate test equipment used in PAC‑3 system testing.
• Ensure adherence to governing procedures and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional program teams to resolve issues.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Document findings and maintain accurate test records.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
• Bachelors degree or higher in STEM
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams
• Background in Quality

Desired Skills:

• Skilled in test verification and validation processes
• Electrical and mechanical experience to support test‑equipment qualification
• Experienced in root‑cause investigation and corrective‑action methodologies and tools
• Effective facilitator of meetings and workshops
• Adept at diagnosing and resolving system or process anomalies

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
