Title: Staff Specialist, Drug & Alcohol - PPT (16hpw) - Parklea
Location: Sydney Australia
Job Description:
The position provides specialist Drug and Alcohol (D&A) assessments, treatment, and care for people in custody with substance use disorders. The position partners with the D&A Clinical Director and Deputy Clinical Director, Clinical Nurse Consultants, Nurse Practitioners, Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) release planning services; health centre Nursing Unit Managers/Nurse Managers, and D&A Staff Specialists, Visiting Medical Officers, and Registrars whilst ensuring patient care is evidence-based and clinical risks are identified and managed. The position provides a hybrid model of care covering face-to-face clinics, telehealth clinics, and daytime D&A Remote Medical Service (ROAMS).
