Job Summary

 

The Senior Partner Solution Architect – IDIRA is a senior technical strategy leader within the Identity Ecosystem team, responsible for helping strategic partners build differentiated and scalable Identity Security businesses around the Palo Alto Networks IDIRA portfolio.

Working with GSIs, MSPs, advisory firms and strategic technology partners, the role sits at the intersection of architecture, partner strategy and business creation. It helps partners translate market opportunity into technically credible offerings, solution blueprints, managed services and cross-platform architectures spanning human, machine and AI identities.

This is not primarily a deal-support or enablement role. The focus is on helping partners create and validate repeatable offerings that can scale across their customer base.

 

Key Responsibilities

Partner Practice & Solution Development

• Help partners define and evolve their Identity Security practice strategy.

• Translate IDIRA capabilities into repeatable partner offerings, consulting services and managed services.

• Develop reusable reference architectures, service designs and implementation blueprints.

• Guide partners on the technical capabilities, skills and assets required to successfully launch and scale new offerings.

• Work alongside business counterparts to ensure partners are positioned for long-term success and growth.

• Support lighthouse engagements where technical validation can establish a repeatable market motion.

Technical Leadership & Evangelism

• Serve as a senior technical focal point for strategic partners as they build out IDIRA offerings and services.

• Provide architectural guidance across PAM, IGA, machine identity, secrets management, cloud identity and AI identity.

• Connect partner GTM and commercial ambitions to the technical architecture, resources and capabilities required to deliver them.

• Drive alignment between partner solutions and the broader Palo Alto Networks platform strategy.

• Evangelize the IDIRA platform to partner architects and technical leaders, helping them understand the value of the portfolio and how it can strengthen their own services and propositions.

• Develop reusable technical assets including reference architectures, service designs, design guides, deployment patterns, best-practice documentation and technical accelerators.

Business & Product Influence

• Collaborate with Alliance Managers, Partner Directors and GTM leaders to identify and shape new partner offerings.

• Help partners develop repeatable consulting and managed-service propositions.

• Support strategic customer engagements where partner architecture is important to validating or scaling a new motion.

• Capture partner and field feedback and translate it into actionable input for Product Management and Engineering.

• Help identify gaps in product, architecture or operating models that may limit partner scale.

 

Qualifications

Required Experience

• 5+ years in senior technical, architecture or consulting roles within cybersecurity or identity.

• Strong expertise in PAM and broader Identity Security, with practical knowledge of IGA, machine identity, secrets management and cloud identity.

• Strong enterprise and cloud architecture background across AWS, Azure and GCP.

• Experience engaging senior technical stakeholders including architects, Product and Engineering leaders.

• Proven experience shaping reusable architectures, joint solutions, managed services or partner offerings.

• Strong ability to connect technical architecture to business value, partner strategy and monetization.

• Excellent communication skills across technical and executive audiences.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with an Identity Security vendor such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea, Saviynt, SailPoint, Okta or Microsoft.

• Experience working with or within GSIs, MSPs or large consulting organizations.

• Experience designing managed security services.

• Experience creating technical reference architectures or service blueprints adopted at scale.

• Experience influencing product direction through customer or partner engagement.

• Experience with Agentic AI and AI Security.

Compensation Disclosure

 

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.

$192,000.00 - $264,000.00/yr
