Will develop and support custom Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software solutions for approximately 84,000 miles of natural gas, gasoline, crude oil, and carbon dioxide (CO2) pipelines and over 150 terminals for storing and handling various chemicals and other products. This position will also support various third-party applications (on premise as well as SaaS) for Shared Services business functions (e.g. Facilities, Corporate Communications, Legal, Procurement, etc.). Duties will include:

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and manage robotic process automation (RPA) solutions using UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and other components.
  • Analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, system owners, and end users to gather requirements and implement automation workflows.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain existing automation solutions.
  • Ensure automation solutions follow industry standards, security requirements and best practices so they are secure, scalable and efficient.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation (Process Definition Documents and Solution Design Documents).
  • Work with different types of applications including Web-based, Java, VB.NET, C#, and Windows systems.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle implementing different project management methodologies like Waterfall, Agile, Scrum etc. (analysis, design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance).

 

Position Requirements
 

Requirements:

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent foreign degree) in Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related field and 3 years of experience as an RPA Software Developer.  Position also requires 3 years of experience (which can have been gained concurrently with the primary experience requirement above) working with the following:

  • Developing RPA solutions using the UiPath platform including UiPath Studio, Orchestrator and other UiPath components.
  • SQL, APIs, web services and enterprise applications.
  • Exception handling, logging and debugging in UiPath.
  • Developing bots and managing RPA workloads using UiPath Orchestrator.
  • Process analysis, solution design and implementation of automation solutions.
  • Providing routine On-call support for UiPath applications.

 This is a hybrid position working 3 days/week at the company’s office in Houston, Texas and 2 days/week from a home office.
