Title: Robotics Deployment Engineer (CDE)

Location: North Reading, MA United States

Pay Range:
$35 - $35 per hour

Travel: 75-90% (US based)

Location: REMOTE - must be located near hub/airport

Type: Expected 8+ Month Contract

Hours: Monday - Friday

Pay: $35/hour

Benefits: Weekly Pay on W2, Medical Insurance

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Deployment Engineer to join our robotics team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and deployment of robotic systems at customer sites. You will work closely with engineering and support teams to ensure the smooth integration of hardware and software, troubleshoot issues, and optimize robot performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics, systems integration, and hands-on troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure robotic systems at customer locations including basic electrical or mechanical skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment.
  • Perform system diagnostics and resolve technical issues during installations.
  • Provide on-site training and technical support to customers.
  • Conduct system tests and validation to ensure performance meets specifications.
  • Document deployment processes and maintain detailed reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Robotics or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting robotic, manufacturing, mechanical, electrical or automation equipment is a plus but not required.
  • Basic knowledge hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability read AutoCAD, Creo or Solidworks drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Previous internship or 3+ months of experience is a plus but not required
  • Previous project management or coordination with stakeholders in a plus but not required.
  • Comfort and ability to travel weekly or bi-weekly for installations or support.
  • Good communication skills
