Job Description:

Product Marketing Operations Lead

Contract Duration: 3 months, with possibility of extension

Pay Rate: $80-$88/hour on W2

Location: Remote - US

Time Zone: Pacific Time Zone

Position Overview

We are seeking a Product Marketing Operations Lead to build and scale the operating infrastructure that enables a Product Marketing organization to deliver strategic business outcomes.

This role is ideal for an experienced Marketing Operations, Product Marketing Operations, GTM Operations, or Marketing Program/Business Operations professional who thrives in ambiguity, creates structure, and drives adoption of processes, tools, and workflows.

The successful candidate will help improve planning, execution, visibility, accountability, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration while leveraging AI and automation to increase operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Product Marketing Operating Model

  • Refine, document, and implement GTM planning, prioritization, launch, and reporting processes.
  • Develop business rhythms, frameworks, dashboards, and operating mechanisms to improve team performance.
  • Drive adoption of improved processes and ways of working across Product Marketing, Regional Marketing, Business Operations, and other global teams.
  • Identify operational gaps and develop scalable solutions.

Portfolio & Resource Planning

  • Maintain visibility into team priorities, initiatives, milestones, dependencies, and budgets.
  • Identify execution risks, resource constraints, and areas requiring attention.
  • Partner with leadership on prioritization, sequencing, and capacity planning.
  • Facilitate problem-solving across complex, cross-functional initiatives.

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Partner with Marketing, Product, Sales, Creative, Regional Marketing, and Operations teams.
  • Align stakeholders, goals, resources, timelines, and execution plans.
  • Establish mechanisms to proactively identify blockers, dependencies, opportunities, and decision points.
  • Serve as an operational partner for strategic marketing initiatives.

Go-to-Market & Launch Operations

  • Develop and operationalize launch planning frameworks, readiness processes, and governance models.
  • Coordinate stakeholders, milestones, resources, and timelines to support successful product launches.
  • Connect global GTM strategies with regional marketing execution.
  • Improve launch visibility, accountability, and execution.

Systems, AI & Automation

  • Implement tools, dashboards, and workflows that improve planning, reporting, visibility, insights, and knowledge sharing.
  • Leverage AI and automation to reduce manual work and operational friction.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline recurring processes and accelerate decision-making.
  • Measure adoption and business impact of new processes and systems.

Reporting & Insights

  • Build reporting frameworks and dashboards that provide visibility into:

  • Initiative health

  • Launch readiness

  • Business priorities

  • Milestones and progress

  • Risks and dependencies

  • Support quarterly and annual planning processes.

  • Analyze operational learnings and translate them into process improvements.

  • Drive continuous improvement across Product Marketing operations.
