Job Description:
GDIT is seeking a skilled Oracle Applications Senior Principal Systems Analyst to support its Oracle EBS R12 current implementation. The analyst will provide critical support for the day-to-day operations, help to address and resolve issues and identify and implement incremental improvements to Oracle EBS and its interfaces with other systems. The senior principal will work with Finance and other business groups to design, implement and optimize the current Oracle Financials environment. The responsibilities of the position will be primarily focused on, but not limited to, Project Billing and Costing, Project Contracts, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Works daily with Financial Services and other business groups to elicit and document requirements, propose and deliver solutions to enable greater business efficiency and streamline and in some cases re-engineer existing processes as necessary.

Ideates and collaborates with other team members to design and deliver business value per requirements and specifications.

Initiates and completes deployments through the Service Now platform while working with developers and other key stakeholders. Follows the organizational change management process and documentation standards.

Escalates issues for resolution with Oracle. The analyst is fluent at working with Oracle Support site to open and drive to conclusion Service Requests. He or she documents bugs and obtains fixes and patches to resolve production problems in a timely manner.

Utilizes and proposes best practices when appropriate to ensure high quality and integrity of the delivered solutions.

Works to identify, evaluate and implement new interfaces or automation when appropriate to improve efficiency and data quality of system operation.

Excels at root cause analysis and troubleshooting of system performance and other issues, recommends workarounds, stop-gap measures and long-term enhancements to eliminate repetitive problems.

May be required to work on conversion projects and data migration into the existing EBS implementation as needed.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Senior Oracle Applications Systems Analyst must have:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance or a related field

Required Technical Skills & Experience: 10+ years of experience in Oracle EBS and/or other enterprise systems

Required Technical Skills:
-
Comprehensive understanding of EBS R12 data architecture in the PA, AR GL schemas etc., and subledger accounting; out of the box and custom integrations; APIs and REST services availability and capabilities for R12
-
Understanding of Oracle development tools and technologies SQL, PL/SQL, XML, Oracle Analytics, BI Publisher, SOA, Web Services

Strong understanding of data governance, compliance standards and best practices for maintaining data integrity and proper labeling of sensitive and personal information, CUI and PII

The likely salary range for this position is $124,093 - $155,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
