【The Opportunity: Redefining Legal Practice】

Many legal professionals spend a significant portion of their time on tasks like document formatting, correcting inconsistencies, and verifying cross-references, rather than engaging in core legal strategy. BoostDraft addresses these operational inefficiencies through technology, providing an environment where experts can focus on their primary responsibilities.

We are seeking a leader whose role extends beyond overseeing internal legal affairs to driving product development and business growth. Leveraging your expertise gained in law firms or corporate legal departments, you will lead the enhancement of our product to solve customer challenges, support enterprise deployments, and drive the overall digitization of the legal sector.

The stringent quality standards and complex analytical processes required by top-tier law firms and global corporate legal departments are unique insights gained only through direct practical experience. Your understanding of industry challenges and perspectives on improvement are essential for designing a product that customers truly need. Your primary objective in this role is to act as a bridge between law and technology, utilizing our product to systematically improve the working environment for a vast number of legal professionals.

【Responsibilities】

• Product Development Contribution
  • Logically deconstruct complex legal workflows and collaborate with the development team to define functional requirements.
  • Bring deep legal expertise to achieve technical excellence through rapid iteration, experimentation, and actionable feedback.
• Enterprise Customer Success and Value Maximization
  • Lead the strategic rollout and adoption of BoostDraft at top-tier law firms and global enterprises.
  • Lead product adoption and be accountable among BD leadership for continually growing customer satisfaction quantitatively and qualitatively.
  • Drive account growth by identifying and executing upselling and cross-selling opportunities to increase overall business revenue.
• Organization Building and Talent Development
  • Recruit and train team members with legal expertise (Legal Experts).
  • Build an organizational structure capable of consistently and autonomously generating high results.

Requirements

• Qualifications: Active license to practice law (in Japan or another major jurisdiction). 
• Language Proficiency: Business-level fluency in both Japanese and English. (Ability to facilitate smooth discussions on complex requirements and strategies with development teams and overseas members).
• Experience: 3+ years of practical experience in a law firm or corporate
• legal department. Experience managing legal operations is a strong plus.
• Mindset: A strong commitment to solving challenges in the legal sector through the application of technology.

Visa and Relocation

Our teams are working fully remotely, and we are expanding our global presence. While our headquarters are currently in Japan, relocation to Japan is not mandatory. If you wish to relocate, we are happy to help you obtain a visa.
