We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our HPC team (part of the AIDEC Business Line). We need you to help with the evolution of HPCWorks, ensuring that our workload manager integration and our cloud deployment capabilities remain at the forefront of the industry. You'll take part in defining microservice interactions, overseeing architecture documentation, and ensuring robust CI/CD workflows. Are you ready for the challenge? You'll make a difference by:

  • Distributed Microservices Design: Designing and implementing microservice roles, responsibilities, and interactions within NavOps, ensuring scalability and resilience.
  • Technology Watch: Staying ahead of microservice patterns, including event-driven architectures, and implementing best practices.
  • Documentation-As-Code: Defining and implementing a developer-friendly software documentation strategy, leveraging automation and best practices.
  • Testing Advocate: Designing and implementing robust unit, contract, integration and end-to-end testing strategies.
  • Lead User Stories: Defining and prioritizing development tasks, ensuring seamless alignment with business and technical goals.
  • Contribute to NavOps Development: Playing a critical role in advancing core libraries and features within the NavOps platform.
  • Document Architecture: Maintaining and evolving technical documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility for developers.
  • Monitor and Maintain CI: Overseeing continuous integration pipelines to enhance software quality and development efficiency.

Your success is grounded in:

  • Strong proficiency in Go (Python is a plus), with hands-on experience in microservices development.
  • Proven expertise with Linux-based operating systems, including command-line usage and shell scripting.
  • Expertise in using and developing container-based applications (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • Expertise in event-driven architectures and cloud-native development.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
  • Strong documentation skills, with experience in "Documentation-As-Code" practices.
  • High Performance Computing (HPC) knowledge/experience is desirable

You'll Benefit From

The pay range for this position is 109,800 - 197,700 annually with a target incentive of 3-5 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
