The ideal candidate will have a mid-level proficiency and a strong ability to quickly learn new applications.
As a Automation Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively will be essential to your success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Perform Manual & Automation & Develop Automated Test of software applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.Develop and execute test scripts based on project User Stories and Acceptance Criteria and specifications.Identify and document software defects and retest defects once fixed.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure effective communication and timely issue resolution.Utilize SQL to query databases and validate test cases during testing.Conduct regression testing to ensure that software changes and updates do not negatively impact existing functionality. Participate in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and test reports.Ramp up on business application knowledge quicklyProvide input into the design and improvement of testing processes and methodologies.Identify and test edge cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage and uncover potential issues that may not be captured by the acceptance criteria alone.Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and developers to gain clarity on User Stories and gather additional information to enhance the testing process.Proactively communicate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and gather feedback on test cases, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and backlog refinement, to contribute to the refinement and improvement of User Stories.Ability to locate the test data, create new or modify existing dataPerform back end data driven testing
Qualifications:
