DESCRIPTION
Build Relationships. Grow Accounts. Own a SMB & Mid-Market Account Portfolio.
We're looking for a relationship-driven Account Manager to join our Sinch team,
supporting our Small and Mid-Market customer segments.
This isn't a high-volume cold calling role. You'll own and grow a defined portfolio of SMB
& Mid-Market customers, focusing on long-term partnerships, consultative selling,
customer retention, and account expansion. If you enjoy owning customer relationships,
uncovering business needs, developing strategic account plans, and helping customers
get more value from their communication strategy, this is a great fit.
What You'll Do
Manage and grow a portfolio of SMB and Mid-Market accounts
Act as a trusted advisor - understand customer needs, business objectives, and
communication strategies and align solutions to their goals
Drive revenue growth through cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the SMB & Mid-
Market customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities to expand customer usage, introduce new use cases,
and increase product adoption
Own customer retention and renewal efforts, proactively identifying risks
and developing strategies to protect recurring revenue
Conduct regular business reviews and customer meetings to demonstrate
value, understand evolving needs, and identify growth opportunities
Develop strategic account plans and maintain accurate account information,
opportunity management, and forecasting in CRM
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Support, Product,
and Marketing teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience
WHAT YOU BRING
Experience in account management, customer success, SaaS sales, or a
related customer-facing role
Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills
Ability to manage and grow a portfolio of SMB and Mid-Market customers
Ability to identify customer needs and translate them into business and
revenue opportunities
Comfortable managing multiple accounts, priorities, and sales opportunities
independently
Strong business acumen with the ability to understand customer objectives
and communicate the value of technology solutions
REQUIREMENTS
A bachelor''s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an
advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop strategic account plans
and identify customer growth opportunities.
Proficiency in CRM software and account management tools.
Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships while achieving
revenue, retention, and expansion goals.
Experience with SaaS, technology, messaging, communications, marketing
technology, or a related industry.
PREFERRED REQIREMENTS:
Experience selling SaaS or communication technology solutions to SMB and
Mid-Market customers
Experience with SMS, business messaging, email marketing, or customer
engagement solutions
Experience managing recurring revenue, renewals, upsell, cross-sell, and
expansion opportunities
If you're an account management professional who thrives on relationships,
consultative selling, and growing customer partnerships - not just transactions -
we'd love to connect.
