Big Ten Powerhouse, the SB Nation blog covering Big Ten basketball, is hiring a writer. The writer will be responsible for writing about Big Ten basketball on an agreed-upon schedule.

Our best candidates will:

  • Have a passion for Big Ten basketball and news and is already familiar with Big Ten Powerhouse.
  • Be able to produce and edit clean copy.
  • Be comfortable working in a remote environment.
  • Previous experience writing about college basketball is preferred.

This is a remote contractor position that pays a monthly stipend. Some daytime availability is preferred. To apply, submit a resume, cover letter, and a college basketball-related writing sample. Your application will not be considered if you do not include these three items.
