Vice President, Global Services at Elastic

Location: Distributed, Global

We are currently looking for a leader of our global Services organization. Reporting to the Chief Customer Success Officer, this role will be responsible for ensuring our customers are equipped to maximize the value they derive from Elastic solutions. Our Services organization helps to catalyze our customers success and allow them to go further with Elastic. What you will be doing:

  • Leading a globally distributed team that is responsible for accelerating our customers success in leveraging the Elastic Stack to power their most mission-critical use cases
  • Developing a long-term strategy, execution roadmap, priorities, and investment plan to scale our Services organization to meet the demand of the future
  • Planning and managing at both the strategic and operational levels
  • Tracking and managing proper metrics to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty are maximized
  • Managing a dispersed and diverse team, which includes frequent global travel

What you bring to the table:

  • 3rd or 4th line leadership experience leading large, global teams in a software company with multi-billion dollar revenues
  • 12+ years in Professional Services
  • Experience in hypergrowth, SaaS environments
  • High levels of integrity, authenticity, and humility
  • Strong executive presence, influencing skills, presentation skills, and business insights
  • A demonstrable desire for innovation, continuous learning, and improvement
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing, and results-oriented atmosphere
  • Strong track record of building and developing high performing teams
  • Proven success working within a highly matrixed organization and establishing strong relationships across the organization
  • Proven track record of building and scaling GTM offerings to support the business
  • Executive sponsorship experience with large customers
  • The gravitas to represent one of the most critical functions within Elastic to executive leadership, key stakeholders, and peers in other function
  • Strong track record of recruiting, developing and retaining a high performing customer services organization
  • The ability to see the big picture without losing sight of the details
