We are hiring a UX Writer / Content Strategist with 6+ years of experience that will be remotely based for 3-6 months. ( full time hours).For our health and wellness client.

Best talent for this role would have these skillsets:

  • On-line portfolio with UX Writing capabilities
  • 6+ years’ experience working as a UX Writer or Content Strategist on digital products and services
  • At least 4 years’ experience working at the enterprise level (health care experience is a plus but not required)
  • Experience authoring in content management systems
  • Experience working on digital products (both web and native mobile apps)

Fundamental Components:

Client’s Digital’s growing design team is looking for an experienced Content Strategist or UX Writer to help demystify the complexities of health care for our users, motivate them to take smarter and healthier actions, and celebrate their successes with them. We’re looking for a passionate, empathic person who can apply innovative approaches to helping people understand a wide range of health care subjects – whether it’s about insurance and benefits information or helping people take steps toward improved well-being.

Because we’re dedicated to empowering better decision making, you’re familiar with recent trends and research around behavior change.

You have experience working on digital products (both web and native mobile apps), you like collaborating with product management teams and you understand the factors that drive feature prioritization.

You’re comfortable working with multiple stakeholders in an enterprise setting, translating complicated business requirements into meaningful content experiences and you love problem-solving in cross-functional teams (Product, Research, UX, and UI).

You’re interested in contributing to the evolution of content strategy practices at the company. You like optimizing processes, you’re a lifelong learner and you can succinctly communicate the value of content and content strategy to your partners across the organization.

Core Responsibilities

  • Execute on content strategy in support of larger organizational goals and objectives
  • Oversee the proper usage of voice and tone for all digital assets created
  • Work with the product, design and research teams team to source or create the right content to educate, motivate and empower users
  • Collaborate with our UX researchers and data scientists to understand user behaviors and uncover new opportunities for engagement
  • Collaborate with our Accessibility team to design a content experience that meets or exceeds WCAG guidelines
  • Provide copy of varying fidelity levels to our UX and UI designers to facilitate testing and iterative design
  • Collaborate with marketing to create a seamless experience for users between products and contexts
  • Produce documentation like content models or copy decks that facilitate publishing or more efficient copywriting implementation
  • Author content in our publishing tools

Background / Work Experience

  • 6+ years’ experience working as a UX Writer or Content Strategist on digital products and services
  • At least 4 years’ experience working at the enterprise level (health care experience is a plus but not required)
  • Experience authoring in content management systems
  • An understanding of how metadata can be used for personalization, targeting and information management
  • A passion for language, and experience using it to influence behavior and promote change
  • An ability to create clear, concise and compelling content
  • Experience integrating brand voice into personalized or segment-driven content
  • Relentless attention to detail
  • Exceptional writing, editing and research skills
  • Experience working collaboratively with multiple teams (Legal, Compliance, Design, UX, Product, Engineering, Marketing)
  • Experience with Agile (especially SAFe) preferred, but not required
  • Experience creating design or content documentation (annotated wireframes, copy decks, content models, page tables, etc.)

EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
