Primary Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for creating and driving new strategic product development (for families with children with special needs and adults with complex healthcare needs) including financial, operational, process, technology, and cross functional business impacts
  • Sets direction, resolves problems and provides guidance to members of work team
  • Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges
  • Influences or provides input to forecasting and planning activities
  • Product, service or process decisions are most likely to impact multiple groups of employees and/or customers (internal or external)
  • Understands current operational execution across the enterprise that could help enable this offering
  • Accountable for translating new strategic product concepts and services into detailed operational execution, including workflow, process, policy, training, technology and other operational-related development
  • Supports the implementation of new products across lines of business and clients by understanding complexities of various stakeholders and contractual agreements
  • Provides guidance on technology development to support new and improved services
  • Brings together existing operational execution from different parts of the enterprise as well as developing new operational processes and capabilities needed to deliver
  • Understanding the needs of families in this space
  • Working with internal and external partners to determine the ideal design, and working to develop and deploy the service for the market
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for model processes and service delivery for roles within the Family Engagement Center operations
  • Performance Driven – Sets and takes accountability for achievement of development objectives
  • Strong operational design, development, and deployment experience related to new products, services, technologies
  • Strong development mindset and ability to facilitate the building of new assets and technical capabilities
  • Solid organization, management, administrative and human relation skills, and a style, which exhibits maturity, leadership, sensitivity and teamwork
  • Communicates and leads in a manner that fosters collaboration, greater understanding, employee engagement and commitment to results
  • Ability to effectively work with and drive progress with employees across the company

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 6+ years of marketing, product, process design and improvement, project management and/or development experience within a matrix organization
  • 5+ years experience with operations roles, including management, operational development and/or process improvement
  • 5+ years experience with technology development, migration and/or implementation
  • Ability to assess problems and implement solutions based sound operational principles
  • Proven experience managing and influencing effectively in a large, matrixed environment
  • Experience working with external partners to deliver a solution to the market
  • Proven organizational skills with ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity
  • Performance-driven attitude- Set and take accountability for achievement of development objectives
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Experience with Medicaid and Medicare
  • Experience with client implementations and process implementations
  • Training in LEAN, Human-Centered Design or Six Sigma
