KEY OBJECTIVE:

The ER Partner is part of a global network in Employee Relations located within North America HR. He/she is responsible for providing or supporting ER services with a focus on formal performance management and employer-initiated termination-related matters and restructuring.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • In this role you will consult, align, coach and drive the Employee Relations strategy for your assigned Board Areas (OCEO, CBG, GCO, DBS, GFA & HR)
  • Provides consultation and guidance to managers in Employee Relations related matters and processes (formal performance management, employer-initiated termination, reorganization/restructuring)
  • Manages a close interaction with managers throughout each step of the processes to ensure fairness and consistency for employees
  • Completes documentation in required language and/or coordinates with local Legal counsel for local translation
  • Acts as interface/partner to key internal (HRD, HRBP, HR Advisor, internal legal counsel, local services, social partners) and external (legal counsel) stakeholders
  • Supports continuous improvement of all regional (global) ER processes and provides thought leadership
  • Handles employee relations matters, in addition to acting as a coach/counsel to employees and managers in highly sensitive, confidential or complex situations.

WORK EXPERENCE & SKILLS:

  • 10+ years HR cross functional experience (HRBP or comparable working experience, COE or HR Shared Services) in a high-growth, fast-paced, and changing environment – ideally in high tech
  • Strong ability to collaborate and develop trusted relationships with leaders, employees and the Legal team
  • Demonstrated expertise in coaching, conflict resolution, influencing, relationship and team building
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Consumer & Quality Focused
  • Experience managing multiple ER cases (ideally in a large-size company environment) and a strong understanding of employment law preferred
  • Strong educational background with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or comparable experience (HR, Psychology, Business preferred)
  • English: fluent
