TextNow is looking for Backend QA leader to come join abackend team that uses cutting edge technologies like cloud computing, micro-services via gRPC, high performing databases, streaming and queueing.

We manage hundreds of millions of user interactions and terabytes of raw data in real-time. We are extending the capabilities of our in-house platform to streamline calling experience into a wholistic and refined user experience. As a Backend engineer in test, you will gain real world experience in being part of building scalable and high performing systems.

What You’ll Do:

• part of scrum teams in crafting test plans, test cases, and test strategy
• Develop test frameworks and automate test cases as well as maintain existing automated tests and tools
• Be an advocate for quality and collaborate with developers, product and care teams
• Investigate, mitigate, and create testing around production errors and incidents

Who You Are:

• Brilliant Collaborator with 5+ years of experience or its equivalence in a software engineering role
• Someone who takes action and ownership with experience with GO, Rest API testing, gRPC, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
• Creator of cool stuff with experience in modern testing frameworks
• Resourceful and scrappy with experience with telecommunication specifically on (VoIP/RCS messaging) is a major asset
• A bold risk-taker and self-starter that can build out our Automation framework
