Title: Quality Assurance Lead

TimelyMD’s campus-wide solution gives students one point of contact–anytime, anywhere–to get quality care and immediate treatment and support for medical or mental health concerns, health coaching advice, from board certified physicians, licensed counselors and certified coaches. TimelyMD’s telehealth programs optimize team based primary care, clinic resources and support clinic staff in delivering quality, patient centric care to the right students at the right times.

The Role

TimelyMD is looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Lead with experience leading a team of QA Analysts to develop and implement testing strategies for new and existing product lines. The QA Lead will collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure that our solution has appropriate controls across the entire testing pyramid and continue to support the growth of our TimelyMD platform.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage a team of QA Analysts performing both manual and automated tests within an agile environment
  • Work with cross-functional leaders including engineers, product managers, designers, and others to identify and resolve gaps in our quality and standards controls
  • Maintain and recommend best practices for QA Testing at TimelyMD
  • Develop a long-term QA vision and roadmap
  • Promote quality as a discipline throughout the organization
  • Understand and analyze requirements and product specifications
  • Understand and implement best-fit approaches to testing to ensure features work as expected
  • Prepare test plans, review, inspect and evaluate QA deliverables

What You Bring

  • BA or BS or equivalent experience is required; MA or MS is a plus
  • At least 4 years of total experience leading QA teams
  • 10+ years of experience delivering enterprise-quality software in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in a startup environment strongly preferred
  • Experience creating and executing organization-wide QA goals
  • Programming skills in Javascript (ES6) or another scripting language a big plus
  • Experience working with and knowledge of RESTful APIs
  • Experience working with automation tools: Appium/Detox, Selenium, Cypress/Playwright
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Proven experience investing in the growth of team members

This is a remote position. Reviewing candidates across the country, not just in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX metroplex.
