Job Summary

Participates in the development and delivery of new products by identifying potential products, conducting market research, generating product requirements; determining specifications; creating product timeframes and plans, and crafting marketing strategies for new product introduction. Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding. These products aid clients with a range of services including customer acquisition and retention, financial and risk management, regulatory compliance, property development and management and/or managing client homeownership experience. Assignments typically center on an assigned product or product line

Essential Functions

  • Collects information on customers’ needs and desires through market research
  • Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product changes
  • Translates product strategy into detailed requirements
  • Monitors ongoing advancement and planning of the 12+ month product roadmap by working with Sales, Marketing, Development & individual clients to understand future needs and opportunities
  • Executes tasks and assignments on the product roadmap; may provide direction to the product development team for product evolution and priorities
  • Define high level customer requirements for the customer experience including product features and functions, target markets, and pricing
  • Assess market competition by comparing the company’s product to competitors’ products

Typical Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 2-5 years experience in product or services development
