A program manager/leader is sought for a national non-profit initiative to support COVID workers. The initiative is based in Chapel Hill, NC, but the individual hired for this position can be based anywhere in the US. The initiative, Heroes Health, supports the mental health of COVID-19 healthcare workers. Heroes Health is funded/supported by a consortium of leading academic, tech, and foundation partners. Demonstrated passion for serving others via work running programs/initiatives in the healthcare or non-profit sectors a must. Individual hired for this position must have substantial experience managing/leading large, complex initiatives, with outstanding demonstrated skills in organization, leadership, project coordination, personnel management, and independent problem-solving. Experience with funders and with app or tech-based projects a plus. Duties include managing rapid national expansion of initiative, with further operational development and modifications as necessary, and research subject/data/regulatory oversight and budget management. This position will be responsible for communicating with nationwide healthcare institutional leadership and onboarding new project collaborators and funders. Additionally, this position will be responsible for coordinating a variety of working groups, and ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of initiative activities. The coordinator will be the primary point of contact for both internal project staff and liaison for other organizations, funding agencies and regulating bodies. A sales/entrepreneurial mindset will be important to help realize the opportunity of the initiative to serve healthcare workers around the US. Must be able to start immediately/very soon.
