The role of the Manager Performance Partner within PPP is to take coordination and oversight role in all aspects of various projects including creation of strategies and deliverables as well as client interaction and relationship management. This position will be primarily responsible for performing billable work for clients. In addition, performs more advanced data research, management analysis, prepares and makes presentations to communicate results and reviews final work plans. Will also serve as a subject matter expert in one or more areas and on projects, and drives all aspects of each initiative including identifying issues, forming hypotheses, planning and conducting interviews & analyses, synthesizing conclusions into recommendations and helping to implement change

Position Responsibilities

  • Assign work, coach team members and manage day-to-day interactions with clients to ensure project results
  • Assist in obtaining a regular assessment of the team’s performance and make suggestions for improvement; encourage team to consistently strive to improve deliverable quality through verification & validation of results
  • Guide the research and analysis process of project analysts and consultants
  • Identify resources needed to complete tasks and deliverables
  • Create tactical work plans and assign timelines
  • Monitor project profitability
  • Collect, verify and disseminate data
  • Maintenance of quality control for deliverables
  • Identification of additional client needs
  • Assist the development of proposals and sales presentations
  • Input and create internal debriefs; record keeping; create references
  • Generate billings by conducting assigned analyses, write and prepare reports, and assist clients in implementing desired changes
  • Execute on project plans to ensure client satisfaction
  • Serve as subject matter expert in one or more areas and help evacuate quality of deliverables
  • Coordinate and deliver effective presentations to client audiences to communicate strategy and outcomes. Identify subject matter experts to help hone strategies
  • Apply industry knowledge to project work and proactively share that knowledge to internal resources and clients
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with engagement/collaborative-specific client personnel through regular contact

Education & Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred
  • Business, Healthcare or related area
  • 6+ years of clinical, operational or supply chain experience
  • Experience managing operating departments in a hospital; lead cross-functional teams
  • RN license or other professional license in clinical area of expertise; PMP/Lean Certification

  • Technical strength with ability to maneuver Premier systems and applications
  • Knowledge of market trends and marketing efforts; knowledge of regulatory requirements that impact area
  • Familiar with regulatory oversight/reporting of clinical quality and safety indicators
  • Understand best practice VA processes; identify VA project opportunities. Understand; quantify/qualify and verbalize the clinical/operational/financial implications of VA projects
  • Conversant in SQL; proficient in Excel; thorough understanding of physician economics
  • Familiarity with professional billing data
