Introduction to Communication – Instructional Staff
Description and Responsibilities
TEL is looking for a domain specialist (Instructional Staff) to evaluate, assign a grade, and provide feedback for rubric-based, complex written assignments in our online courses. Instructional Staff must have a minimum of 12 college credit hours in a subject to qualify as a domain specialist. We provide rubrics and training on how to give feedback as well as templates of common feedback items. Assignments should take no longer than 10 – 20 minutes to grade. You will report to our Instructional Specialist and have an overseeing Instructor-of-Record to check your subject expertise and help provide you with professional development. Work is paid per item graded. We need Instructional Staff in the following areas:
- Introduction to Communication ($3 per written Assignment)
An ideal candidate is someone working towards becoming an educator in their bachelor’s program or beyond. We strive to support future educators as well as anyone pursuing higher education in their field. At this time we are unable to hire internationally – we are only able to hire within the United States.
- CV or Resume
- 1+ years of teaching experience (preferred)
- Bachelors degree in Communication (required)
- Speaks English (required)
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (required)
