We scaled our customer base 7x in 2019 and are adding new partners and customers at a very rapid pace. We’re looking for an implementation specialist to support our sales team in onboarding new partners and customers as efficiently as possible.
This is an exciting role for a current or former accountant who wants to dive into the world of tech and automation full time. The role requires a background as either a CPA or controller, and requires deep knowledge of one or more accounting systems (e.g. QBO, Netsuite, Sage, Xero, etc). If you have a passion for workflow automation in accounting, this is a dream job.
As an implementation specialist you’ll interface both with the product- and sales team on a daily basis. You’ll talk to customers and accounting firm partners to understand their current manual workflows, and help them automate those flows using Roger’s workflow builder. You will help us understand our customers’ needs by reporting emerging trends learned from your calls and meetings. We are looking for someone who is a highly motivated self-starter who does well in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Our perfect team member is passionate about working closely with customers to find solutions that maximize their satisfaction with our product suite. You thrive in problem-solving, finding efficient ways to work through complex customer inquiries, and are extremely comfortable communicating with customers via written and verbal channels. You’re incredibly organized and have strong time management skills. It’s critical that you have a mindset for using technology and can quickly learn how to use new tools.
This is a remote role but you must be based in the US and have been employed in a US accounting firm or a US based business as a controller/member of a finance team. You’ll be able to work from home or from a co-working space of your choice.
You’ll be part of our Partner Experience team, consisting of 2 other implementation specialists and a strong support team. You’ll work closely with our 6 sales team members, as well as our product team. The 30-person Roger team is characterized by a high degree of support internally. We help each other out and pitch in when problems arise as well as give each other feedback to grow. Our top priority is to build the world’s best financial automation platforms, while keeping our users safe and compliant. We’re just starting up the in-house marketing team and you will be our first hire for this effort.

- 1-3 years’ experience in technical or software based customer service position (phone, chat).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; answering all incoming customer concerns quickly with accurate information and able to interact with customers
