  • We’re seeking our first engineering hire to take the lead (in collaboration with our technical cofounder) implementing new features as we build out the PlateJoy chronic disease interventions.
  • Our codebase is robust, built in Ruby on Rails 5.1 and React 16, with an extensive RSpec suite.
  • We work with PHI (protected health information), so everything we do is HIPAA compliant, but we leverage the modern SaaS ecosystem (e.g. Datica) to keep ourselves as nimble as possible.
  • We’re a small but growing, close-knit team. We work hard but laugh a lot. Humility and willingness to learn are key.
  • This position requires someone who can jump in and begin contributing to a complex Rails & React app, so we need someone with depth of experience who can also work remotely, in collaboration with our CTO, Daniel.
