This is an exciting opportunity for talented individuals to contribute to the transformation of the Nation’s aviation system in which air traffic will move safely, swiftly, efficiently, and seamlessly around the globe.

NATECH is recruiting for a Systems Analyst to support the FAA National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC III) program. This position will provide Systems Analyst/Planner support to the following NAS programs;

  • NAS Security and Enterprise Operations (NASEO)
  • National Operations Group – Pacific Operations Control Center (POCC)
  • Mid-State Operations Control Center (MOCC)
  • Atlantic Operations Control Center (AOCC)
  • Enterprise Control Centers (ECC)
  • System Wide Information Management (SWIM ECC), DATA/COM
  • Voice (Voice ECC)
  • Navigation/Surveillance ECC

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Will ensure the currency and accuracy of existing National Airspace System (NAS) management information databases, In-use and personal property records, and Service Flow Diagrams.
  • Performs evaluation of alternatives and an assessment of risks and costs.
  • Directly support the design, construction, safety, installation, implementation, management, and efficiency of the National Airspace System.
  • Directly support equipment layout plans, transition plans, strategic plans, master plans, interface plans, management plans, financial plans, program plans and project plans.
  • Provides expertise in conducting research, evaluations, and studies required to develop both short-term and long-term plans; including the required recommendations, goals, and objectives necessary for program and project accomplishment.
  • Applies a wide range of methods to gather, analyze, and evaluate information on program and project issues and the impact of technological, procedural, financial, and managerial considerations.
  • Provides planning, scheduling, networking and coordination assistance among regional and headquarters organizations involved in NAS implementation and integration efforts.
  • Provides substantial coordination and interface with other offices and with members of the planner’s team.
  • Create and update Remote Monitor and Logging System (RMLS).
  • Input Line Frequency (L/F) entries based on information obtained from various sources.
  • Update RMLS Peabody Database entries.
  • Monitor FAA Telecommunications Infrastructure (FTI) circuit cutovers nationwide for proper Line Frequency (L/F) entries.
  • Create and maintain Service Flow Diagrams (SFD) for use by Operations Control Center and Enterprise Control Center Specialists as well as, Field Specialists, and Engineering Services (ES) personnel.
  • Provide Technical Operations Control Centers (TOCC) with feedback on missing Line and Frequency Records (LFs), for Cutover FTI Circuits, and other related records.
  • Using the Operations Module of the Telecommunications Enterprise Management Tool (TEMT), closely monitor for Cutover FAA Enterprise Telecommunications Infrastructure (FTI) circuits that do not have a valid Line and Frequency Record (LF) written against them.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have previous FAA work experience at an Operations Control Center.
  • Must have working knowledge and experience using Visio.
  • Requires a BA degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience; or Master’s degree with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience; or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience creating and updating Remote Monitor and Logging System (RMLS) Line Frequency (L/F) entries based on information obtained from various sources.
  • Experience updating other RMLS Peabody Database entries.
  • Using the Operations Module of the Telecommunications Enterprise Management Tool (TEMT), closely monitor for Cutover FAA Enterprise Telecommunications Infrastructure (FTI) circuits that do not have a valid Line and Frequency Record (LF) written against them.
