Description

VSolvit LLC is seeking an Administrative Assistant – Level II: Provide administrative support specifically dedicated to the requirements of the project team. Perform a wide range of clerical and administrative duties including, for example, typing, filing, tracking of time records, word processing, dictation, and composition of correspondence.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative functions for the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Investigative Service Headquarters (CGIS) and Office of Legal Policy and Program Development (CG-LPD).
  • Typing, filing, tracking of time records, word processing, dictation, and composition of correspondence Build enterprise data and analytics solutions.
  • Assist all staff and personnel supporting the (USCG) Office of Legal Policy and Program Development (CG-LPD).
  • Process outgoing and incoming unclassified and classified mail
  • Prepare reports, charts, and metrics
  • Perform office-related duties, such as management of calendars, answering telephone, filing, typing, and reception duties

Position Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma¬†and 6+ years in an administrative support role
  • 5+ years’ Microsoft Office suite including (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • 5+ years Microsoft Outlook experience
  • 5+ years’ operating various office equipment: copiers, fax machines, typewriter, scanner, and telephone answering systems
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years’ Microsoft Office suite including (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • 8+ years Microsoft Outlook experience
  • Experience working with the DoD Entities such as US Coast Guard, US Navy, US Army, US Marines, US Air Force or other
  • Experience with Defense Travel System (DTS) US Coast Guard Systems
  • Bachelor’s degree
