Insight Global is looking for a Solar Commissioning Analytics Specialist to join their team for a remote opportunity. The Commissioning Analytics Manager will be working on one of the worlds largest Battery Energy Storage System Developers, for the client. The primary roles are to conduct plant testing, performance testing, ISO/GIA/PPA Testing and startup of a Battery Energy Storage System and Solar Coupled Power systems. To act as the Owners representative to oversee aspects of the energy storage system including compliance, status reporting, safety, startup, commissioning, and testing. Employees in this role manage and report on commissioning, and performance testing work performed by contractors and/or vendors at the project sites.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participates in safety program and audits
• Support PPA Testing with Customer
• Support GIA Testing with TO
• Support ISO testing
• Manage test energy forecast with the customer
• Support ICCP IT SCADA Team and SCADA PM/Lead with functional checks
• Work with SCADA Integrator and Execution Commissioning Project manager to develop a Commissioning schedule based on Mechanical completion
• Work with SCADA integrator and Commissioning Manger to execute site acceptance testing.
• Support CEWIS Critical Point Checkout with ROCC alarm checks/PGD
• Perform OEM Testing
• Perform Plant Balancing
• Perform Capacity Testing
• Perform notification of AVR/AGC and support

$50-$55/HR

Skills and Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience with PV Solar site analytics
• Understanding of containerized systems, skids, controllers/SCADA, transformers, combiners
• Thorough understanding of DC systems (0-2,000Vdc) and AC systems (480V-34.5kV)
• Experience with writing reports and procedures
• Strong communication skills Bachelors degree in Engineering - Any discipline null
