The Marketing & Communications team helps build the ZS brand, champion thought leadership, support business development and engage our past, present and future workforce. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Developer with hands-on expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Cloud to join our web team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building responsive, accessible, and high-performance web interfaces integrated with AEM, ensuring seamless user experiences across platforms. You will be working in a flexible, hybrid and connected work environment to support the team of content publishers, web developers, seo & analytics professionals and a technology agency responsible for managing ZS.com. The selected candidate will be expected to work during standard business hours to align with client schedules and operational requirements. They should possess a strong technical understanding of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) architecture, including components, templates, dialogs, workflows, and dispatcher caching. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles is essential. The role requires hands-on experience with AEM authoring environments, CRX/DE, and front-end integration using HTL (Sightly) and Sling Models. A solid grasp of SEO best practices, WCAG accessibility standards, and web performance optimization techniques is also necessary to ensure high-quality user experiences. The candidate will collaborate with global stakeholders and report directly to the Global Website Manager. This role is critical to ensuring that all development work meets the highest standards of functionality, performance, accessibility, and user experience across multiple regions and devices. What You'll Do: Design scalable, modular, and maintainable frontend architecture using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Develop and maintain scalable, reusable, and efficient frontend components using modern frameworks like React.js, Angular, or Vue.js. Implement lazy loading, code splitting, and caching strategies for performance optimization. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness using CSS frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind). Implement accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and best practices. Integrate frontend components with AEM Cloud using HTL (Sightly), Sling Models, and JCR. Customize and extend AEM components, templates, and dialogs for dynamic content rendering. Build intuitive and flexible components for AEM authors. Provide documentation and training for content teams on component usage. Coordinate with DevOps for dispatcher configurations and caching strategies. Optimize frontend performance for speed, responsiveness, and SEO. Use tools like Lighthouse, SonarQube, and New Relic to monitor performance and code quality. Use browser dev tools, logging, and monitoring tools for diagnostics. Integrate with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Work across multiple environments (dev, QA, staging, prod) and manage frontend deployments. Identify and resolve frontend issues in development, staging, and production environments. Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes into functional interfaces. Collaborate with backend developers and AEM architects for seamless integration. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Conduct peer code reviews and enforce coding standards. What you'll bring: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in frontend development. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Cloud). Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and frontend frameworks. Experience with AEM component development, clientlibs, and dispatcher configurations. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and JSON data handling. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc. Experience with AEM Headless CMS or hybrid CMS architectures. Familiarity with Adobe Analytics, Target, or other Adobe Marketing Cloud tools. Exposure to internationalization (i18n) and localization (l10n) practices. Understanding of web security principles and data privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA). Hybrid working model: ZS is committed to a Flexible and Connected way of working.
