Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • You will become the primary contact for borrower's, contractor's, HUD Consultant's, and third-party vendors.
  • Review Renovation fundings daily.
  • Setup individual folder on Team's and pull/review all important documents budgets for each funded project accurately.
  • Send out Welcome Email to all parties.
  • Complete and maintain monthly check-in/communication with all parties on every renovation file.
  • Process Renovation draw requests, change orders, change order releases, permissions to occupy, title update orders, final release of contingency/remaining balance, request principal reductions, etc. for all renovation projects.
  • Ensure complete and timely loan draws are prepared, and Contractors are paid in a timely manner
  • Maintain and balance budgets and ensure renovation loans are balanced, timely project completion and Contractor's adherence to project timeline.
  • Complete all payment request within Wrike for Renovation Operations Manager or Department Manager to approve disbursements.
  • Responsible for various company-wide risk management and internal control functions, including procuring renovation contractor insurance coverage, ordering title updates, and resolving mechanic's liens, and surety bonds.
  • Assists with the transaction closing-out process
  • Responsible for all vendor payables, mortgage payments financed in renovation budget, various fees, renovation loan reconciliations, project disbursements, etc.
  • Analyze and suggest internal procedural changes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Our Renovation Department is a customer service department internally and externally. It is very important that this individual has exceptional customer service and maintain good working relationships with third party resources, including borrower's contractors, HUD Consultant's, national title company for title updates, inspectors, and all additional third-party vendors.

Qualifications

  • Must have at least two (2) years of experience in renovation and construction disbursement department of a mortgage company.
  • Strong working knowledge of a variety of renovation mortgage loan programs, including but not limited to Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and Jumbo.
