Job Description:

Akkodis is seeking a Principal Architect for a Contract with a client in Raleigh, NC(Hybrid). The ideal candidate will lead the design and implementation of advanced AI solutions, including GenAI and LLM-based systems, while building cloud-native data pipelines for enterprise-scale applications.

Rate Range: $70/hour to $75/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Principal Architect job responsibilities include:

• Design and prototype advanced AI solutions, including GenAI, LLM-based systems, and RAG pipelines for enterprise-scale applications.

• Build and integrate cloud-native data pipelines using platforms like Snowflake, Airflow, and Vertex AI to enable scalable AI workflows.

• Lead innovation initiatives to validate and productionize emerging AI technologies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Define and enforce engineering standards for AI and data systems, balancing agility, scalability, and governance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed AI-driven insights into business processes and ensure responsible data usage.

• Mentor engineers and architects on modern AI frameworks, cloud architecture, and best practices for automation and observability.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

• 10+ years in enterprise data architecture or engineering with hands-on AI and cloud-native platforms experience.

• Proven expertise in designing and deploying large-scale AI systems, including GenAI, LLM-based solutions, and RAG pipelines.

• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern AI/data frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Hugging Face, Snowflake, Airflow, Vertex AI) with experience in cloud architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Pay Details: $70.00 to $75.00 per hour
