Role Summary:
The Commercial Excellence Specialist will support as North America has launched a new Strategic Planning & Commercial Excellence function designed to synchronize how we work across the division to reach our ambitious 2030 goals. As a founding member of this team reporting to the Senior Director, you will manage the daily operations and cross-functional coordination required to run our new Commercial Operating Model. Positioned at the intersection of Marketing and Customer Development, this role offers a unique experience to learn how every function in the division works together to drive results. This is a high-visibility launchpad for an energetic professional looking to learn quickly, build from the ground up, create a robust internal network, and grow into a Marketing or Sales leader.
Responsibilities:
-
Commercial Orchestration: Serve as the central owner of the North America Master Calendar. You will track and communicate all critical deadlines across Marketing, CDO, Finance, Supply Chain and other functions to ensure the division meets retailer-specific milestones without delay.
-
Synthesis & Governance: Support the Senior Director in maintaining a single source of truth for the division. You will collect and organize inputs from various teams, distilling complex information and data into standardized and polished documents for leadership review.
-
Operational Rollout & Training Support: Partner with the Senior Director to execute the divisional shift to our new way of working. You will handle the logistics for training sessions, manage the distribution of onboarding materials, and track functional adoption to ensure the entire division is equipped for the transition.
-
Stakeholder Accountability: Act as the daily coordinator for the commercial rhythm. You will proactively follow up with stakeholders at all levels - confidently picking up the phone or visiting desks as needed - to ensure inputs are received on time and that the organization remains on schedule.
-
Proactive Problem Solving: Beyond managing assigned tasks, you will be expected to identify gaps in our current workflows and suggest immediate, practical improvements to make our processes more efficient and effective.
-
Digital Foundation & AI Implementation: Support the transition from manual trackers and calendars to a scalable digital platform. You will manage the manual data and workflows in the short term and serve as a lead tester for new AI-powered tools and technical solutions that will automate recurring tasks and make our planning smarter, faster, and more standardized.
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
-
1–2 years of experience within CP CDO
-
Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (specifically Sheets and Slides).
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Strong Organization & Project Management skills
-
Demonstrated ability and passion for using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) to improve personal and team productivity.
-
You are a high-energy, positive professional who genuinely loves the challenge of creating order out of a mess. You stay optimistic under pressure and approach every task with a smile and a "can-do" spirit. You are a proactive learner who takes personal pride in the precision of your work, knowing that getting the small details right is what allows the whole team to win.
