Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate must possess a master's degree in Public Health or a closely related field (such as Health Promotion, or Health Science) and at least 18 hours post master's from an accredited institution in a field related to courses to be taught at Sul Ross State University. A terminal degree is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a practicing leader in public health and/or health sciences strongly preferred. Preference will be given to applicants with a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, effective written and verbal communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to foster strong working relationships with students, peers, administrators, and others. Evidence of effective and successful teaching, especially through online platforms, such as Blackboard, is strongly desired. Experience in program development andweb-course development is strongly preferred.

Job Description
Coordinate and oversee the development of a new online Master's in Public Health (MPH) with concentrations in Community Health, Health Informatics, and Healthcare Administration. Teach
nine semester credit hours online per long semester and program administration oversight year round.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate the implementation of the MPH degree.
- Virtually teach 3 (9 semester credit hours total) courses each long semester. Additional summer courses on a needed basis for additional pay.
- Develop research pipeline and contribute to current studies.
- Provide service to students, program, college, and institution.

The report contains information regarding campus safety and security including topics such as: campus law enforcement authority; crime reporting policies; campus alerts (Timely Warnings and Emergency Notifications); fire safety policies and procedures; programs to prevent dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking; the procedures the University will follow when one of these crimes is reported; and other matters of importance related to security on campus. The report also contains information about crime statistics for the three most recent calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in On-Campus Student Housing Facilities; in Noncampus buildings or property owned or controlled by the University or a recognized student organization; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. The report also contains fire statistics for any fires occurring in an On-Campus Student Housing Facility during the three most recent calendar years.
